  • These are some English-Japanese sentences that use "wildcards" from the Tatoeba Corpus.
  • Each sentence pair is followed by two computer-generated substitutions for each tatoeba.org sentence.
  • These are randomly-generated each time you reload the pages, so if you reload these pages, you will see new sentences.
  • Non-name Substitutions Note that the name Tom can also often be substituted with things like the following. Some randomly-selected phrases may not create natural-sounding sentences. However, a little human common-sense can easily spot those.
